Spa Not Heating
All SpaNET touchpads will have a flame indicator light, when illuminated RED this means the spa understands it needs to heat. If this indicator light isn’t RED the spa will not heat. The most common reason a spa doesn’t heat is due to incorrect settings. Firstly, check the clock has been set correctly & the sleep timers are set to your liking, as these will govern when the spa will heat. For SV Series controllers also ensure the spa is set to NORM mode.
Performing a software reset is a good place to start when your spa is no longer heating as this will take all user setting back to their defult values. The defult Sleep timers are begin sleeping at 22:00 and end sleeping at 07:00. We also recommend checking the TYPE software value is set to match the spa control model.
The SpaNET SV Series controllers have a current sensor that stipulates how much power in amperage (A) the spa is drawing. This can be viewed in the diagnostics menu. Refer to Viewing Electric Element Amp Draw.
If the spa is fitted with an external heat pump which is no longer running refer to Heat Pump Troubleshooting
