Pumps Not Running Properly
Several software settings determine the spas pump confirguration. If suddenly pump buttons have either disappeared on your SmartTOUCH or now engage different pumps on your SV or SV Mini touchpad, check the TYPE vaule is set to match the controller model.
DIP Switched located on the brain PCB also determine pump configuration. These will be set to suit your spa model during production. However, when retrofitting or replacing equipment refer to DIP switches explained. If all settings and DIP switches have been set correctly, liaise with a spa technician to determine if the pump is faulty.
If a jet pump is stuck on, even after toggeling the related pump button to OFF on the touchpad, you may have a latched pump relay on your spa controller circuit board. A pump relay can latch if the spa is subject to a power event such as a low mains voltage brownout, power outage or extreme weather conditions that put extra load on the electricity grid. We recommend rapidly pressing the related pump button in quick succession. This will send the ON/OFF signal to the relay multiple times which could free it from its latched state. Failing this, you’ll need to engage a local spa technician to replace the Power PCB.
